WLAN / WIFI internet access - has it really no impact on biological tissue?

I am considering buying a WLAN spot for my houshold. However, I have doubts on whether or not the signals may harm humans and on whether there are really no long-term effects on humans.

As I know from biology, certain wavelengths of light/radiation may interfere/ have impact on biological tissue in case they are about the same size/dimension as biological structures.

Given the wavelength of WLAN radiation, dont you think that biological structures can be harmed? I am looking for qualified answers, thanks a lot.
