Hello Daniel, actual stage of chair is: engineering Figures are made, concept is proven by the chief innovator of a global major company. Some material research is made, but still some work to do. Next will be a function modell to test and prove if my concept works. When this is proven we will make a IP strategy .Then contact some partners in usa to find a business modell, as aviation requires a lot of testing and also money for a certification.

Not a normal ticket for sure...Low cost era is there. And people sometimes is not concerned about teh safety: they do not have a clue of it!
For sure first Ticket and bussiness Class should have this! They will pay extra anyway...and is a big differentiator between low cost planes and Bussiness people that can afford it.
Unfortunately there is no way of proving your product unless you have an actual crash: That will for sure boost teh need for it (or doom it if nobody survives) After putting seats in teh first Class , unfortunately, Then convince teh media that should be Democratic and will be compulsory

If the airplane crashes, the searching operation will increase the Co2 exhaust.
Did you ever mention that a standard feight ship is burning 40 t of heavy oil per day (europe-americas takes 14days) the new supertanker´s fuel consumption per day is 360 t per day !! The average fuel consumption per passenger is 9 liters on 100km (newer Airbus& Boing)
A piper flying Vienna- Frankfurt uses 750lt kerosin, diamond aircraft only needs ~250 liters of diesel.
Co2 seems more like a hype, a change form combustion engines to electric engines also would cut off the 360 t of the supertanker, What do you think about these. Would be interesting to learn what we find out if discussion if continuing. Daniel maybe you like the movie External Link http://www.humus-derfilm.at it shows proven examples of Co2 storage in the soil.
Thank you for this important imput Daniel German

No. Did anybody compute how much it would increase the CO2 emissions (more weight) if everybody wanted such a seat?

No, except the seat is cheaper than 10$ extra.

    Dear Wolfgang
I am about to fly to Shanghai and I need to pay 1500.- USD for a ticket. If I had the chance of a life saving chair, I would definitely pay up to 2500.- USD, since I find that also a very cool seat.
    YES ! definitely.
